Silhouettes is a growing personal defense training facility that uses traditional and innovative training aids and modules. We aim to give our students a robust learning experience. From pepper spray to the handgun to long barrel guns, we help the community think about their safety and make informed decisions about the protective tools they choose for themselves.

1-on-1 Private Coaching
Whether you want to be introduced to firearms, fine tune your marksmanship shooting fundamentals, enhance your gun competency, or develop your self-assurance, our private coaching experience is an awesome investment into yourself.
Group Instruction
If you have a group of at least four people who would love to invest in a day of learning and empowerment, this is a great option for you.
Smokeless (Virtual) Range
Whether you are a new firearm owner or experienced looking to develop your marksmanship or defensive shooting skill set, our smokeless range is from you. This is where you can practice without the risk.

Pep Talk
Come learn about the differences of pepper spray and defense sprays, carrying and operating your canister of pepper spray, and the law governing this particular tool.
Introduction to Handguns
This course covers the universal safety rules, the mechanisms of a firearm, and the shooting fundamentals.
Gun Cleaning 101
Like you, your gun requires TLC (tender, loving care) and attention. As gun owners, it’s important for us to perform routine maintenance on all of our guns. Cleaning your firearms regularly is a vital part of that maintenance.
North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Course
This course is specifically tailored and NCDOJ approved to meet the requirements for the NC Concealed Firearm Permit Certificate to allow you to apply for your North Carolina Concealed Firearm permit.
Introduction to Defensive Shooting
This course is NOT designed for a new or inexperienced shooter. We introduce the concept of defensive shooting and provide a baseline for the shooter to measure their shooting skillset and improve. We focus on close quarter engagement and basic tactical maneuvers.
USCCA CCHDF Instructor Development Course
Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.
Exploring Marksmanship Shooting
This course is for the more experienced shooter looking to explore more a next level in marksmanship.

Silvers Senior Program
This program is designed for the mature community members. An ideal participant is a 61+ years old male or female who leads an active lifestyle.
The Sole Survivors
This program is designed for adults who have lost their spouse due to death. Through this program, these individuals will be encouraged as they navigate a life without their spouse. Once the program starts, it doesn’t end.
She’s the B.O.S.S Summit // Business Owners’ Safety and Strategy
This program is designed for female business owners to discover security considerations and emergency and contingency plans that you want to have in place for your business, your employees, and yourself.
Silhouettes Defend(H)ers // Women only, virtual, subscription program
This program is designed for women. It’s virtual courses that can be taken in the comfort of one’s home.
Junior Defend(H)ers Exploration Program
This will be a week-long camp during spring break. This program is designed to foster a safe environment to help strengthen the confidence and awareness of our girls. Our target audience is girl youth ages 12 – 18 years old.
